Preserving Tradition and Fellowship Across Scotland
Our organisation, The Order of the Eastern Star, is a charitable establishment administered by a dedicated team of Office Bearers. These Office Bearers are elected by the members, and our present team was installed in April 2026. It is headed by our Most Worthy Grand Matron, Sister Valerie Harkins, and supported by the Most Worthy Grand Patron, Brother John Faulds.
The Office Bearers change generally every two years, ensuring that the leadership remains fresh, balanced and focused on supporting our members and charitable efforts across Scotland. We remain committed to preserving our traditions while serving our communities with kindness, unity and fellowship.
